| Now
the LC700 Hybrid Controller is more powerful, more dependable,
and more easy to use than ever before. New release of the LC700
processor module, the CPU-700D3 and CPU-700D3R added many new
features for the system.
The hardware is more resistant to EMI (Electromagnetic Interference)
and ESD (Electrostatic Discharge). The CPU can handle more I/O
points and larger configurations. The Modules have 2 new important
features; the Self-ID and the Hot-Swap. The Self-ID means that
Modules are automatically identifiable by the CPU and configuration
tool (CONF700v7 or higher), while “Hot-Swap” means
that you can replace modules while the circuit is on without causing
any damage to the electronic components. However, process sensitivity
for these changes must be analyzed by the user.
Automatic
or Manual MODBUS address generation. User can control and assign
the address for the MODBUS variables. All new features are supported
by the new free CONF700 v7 Windows ™ configurator. New function-block
for leak detection (based on API 11.1) and also a status function-block
to take advantage of the self-diagnosis feature.
Connectivity
to Modems received the addition RTS/CTS control signals.
The
OPC Server is faster and includes a built-in channel redundancy
(unique in the market!). The OPC Server also publishes some important
status. With these status the HMI has visibility on what is going
on with communication ports and redundancy.
